Claim Management System – A modern claim management web application built to replace slow, paper-based mileage and overtime claims for a Malaysian city council (Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru). Designed and developed end to end, the system moves every claim through one clean, auditable flow: staff submit, supervisors verify, and finance approves payment — cutting a three-week manual cycle down to days.
Each dashboard is tailored to how that user actually works. Staff get live claim calculations with automatic rate and cap enforcement. Supervisors work a prioritised approval inbox. Finance runs batch payments, CSV exports, and monthly spend reports — all backed by a complete audit trail on every action.
Built with Laravel and Tailwind CSS, the interface follows a clean, Apple-inspired design language with a fully bilingual Malay / English toggle, responsive layouts, and accessible, keyboard-friendly components across desktop, tablet, and mobile — a practical example of turning a real operational bottleneck into a fast, reliable, and beautifully designed digital tool.
