Pondok Muhammadiah – a pondok and tahfiz institution in Kelantan for male and female students. A Bahasa Malaysia website covering admission, study systems, facilities, activities and donations.

Pondok Muhammadiah is a pondok and tahfiz institution in Kelantan for male and female students. I built a Bahasa Malaysia website that brings its study programmes, admission guidance and campus information together. Parents can learn about the institution before applying, while supporters can find information about contributions without confusing that route with student registration.

The brief

Pondok Muhammadiah has several audiences to serve. Prospective students need to understand the teaching and daily routine. Parents need practical admission information and a picture of the environment where their children will live. Donors need a clear route to contribution details. I organised the website around those different questions, with separate groups for the introduction, registration, studies, activities and contact information. The aim was to make a substantial amount of institutional content readable without putting every detail on the homepage.

What I built

  • An institutional introduction – The introduction pages cover the background, vision and mission, founder’s biography, Mudir’s welcome message, timeline and organisation chart. Together they give families several ways to understand the institution and the people responsible for its direction.
  • A clear registration group – Admission information, application procedures, required documents and an online application form sit within the registration section. I kept these tasks together so a prospective student can follow the practical steps instead of finding instructions scattered across unrelated pages.
  • Two study routes – Pondok and tahfiz programmes are explained as distinct routes. The programme content outlines the study approach and expectations, giving families a basis for asking more specific questions about which path is suitable before making an application.
  • Daily life information – Pages for teachers, pondok rules and the daily activity schedule explain more than the academic programme alone. They help visitors understand the structure of life at the institution, including the expectations that come with residential study.
  • Campus facilities – The homepage presents facilities including the mosque, hostels, library and dining hall. These named spaces give families a more concrete introduction to the campus than a general statement that accommodation and facilities are available.
  • Activities and programmes – The site groups activity content into areas such as student representation, community programmes, qasidah, Maulid celebrations and the tailoring club. This gives the institution room to show different parts of student and community life alongside the formal study information.
  • Contact and contributions – An enquiry form and location information support people who still have questions. A separate contribution and infak page gives supporters their own route, rather than asking them to use the student admission process for an unrelated purpose.
  • A structured WordPress build – I used WordPress with Elementor for the website. The content is written in Bahasa Malaysia and arranged around recognisable section names. The homepage introduces the main topics while the supporting pages hold the instructions and background that need more space.

How the Pondok Muhammadiah website works

The Pondok Muhammadiah website starts by explaining the institution’s pondok and tahfiz offer. A family can then compare the programme information, look at the facilities and move into the registration section. I kept that path connected to practical supporting pages, because understanding a programme and preparing an application are related tasks but not the same task.

Visitors who want more background can read about the founder, leadership and institutional history. Others can look through activities or go directly to the enquiry and location information. Pondok Muhammadiah also has a separate contribution route, so supporters can reach the relevant details without working through pages intended for applicants.

Result

Pondok Muhammadiah now has a public information website that brings learning, admission and campus life into a clear structure. Visitors can research the institution, prepare for an application, find an enquiry route or read about contributing. The result is not a claim about increased enrolment or donations. It is a practical place for families and supporters to find the information relevant to them.
